Floor Covering (76.49.08)

Removal

1. Remove battery cover and disconnect ground cable from battery terminal.
2. Remove rear seat cushion.
3. Remove front seats.
4. Remove 'J' gate surround.
5. Remove centre console finisher veneer panel.
6. Remove fascia centre veneer panel.
7. Remove centre console assembly.
8. Remove 'A' post lower trim pads.
9. Remove 'B' post trim pads. Refer to operations.

10. Slacken and remove centre console heater ducting securing screw and remove ducting from vehicle.

11. Rotate heelboard fasteners 1/4 turn and remove both heel boards from vehicle.
12. Remove front sill treadplates. Refer to operations.
13. Remove rear sill treadplates. Refer to operations.
14. Release the carpet retainers from BIW flanges at each side.

15. Release the two carpet rear retainers from BIW brackets.

16. Remove handbrake trim finisher.
17. Move gear selector to position 'R'.
18. Slacken and remove nut securing gear selector inner cable to 'J' gate stud.
