Sunroof / Moonroof Module: Testing and Inspection
Synchronization

Removal

1. Remove sliding roof trim panel for access.  See: Roof and Associated Components/Sunroof / Moonroof/Sunroof / Moonroof Interior Trim

2. Remove battery cover and disconnect ground cable from battery terminal. Refer to 'Battery, Battery Cable.'  See: Starting and

Charging/Battery/Battery Cable/Negative 

3. Remove roof console for access.    See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair 
4. Remove sliding roof panel control module.   

Installation

1. Using a drive key or screwdriver in the motor gearbox slot, manually move the sliding roof towards the closed position.

2. Position the sliding roof with an 8mm gap between the driven lever and the guide rail step.
