Power Seat Motor: Service and Repair
Fore and Aft Adjustment Motor/Potentiometer Assy.

Removal

1. Remove battery Cover and disconnect ground cable from battery terminal. See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Battery Cable/Negative/Service and

Repair 

WARNING:  FOLLOWING DISCONNECTION OF THE BATTERY A PERIOD OF AT LEAST ONE MINUTE MUST BE
ALLOWED TO ELAPSE BEFORE WORKING ON A FRONT SEAT WITH A SIDE AIRBAG FITTED.

2. Remove front seat from vehicle and place inverted on clean work surface. See: Service and Repair 

3. Release rearward (RH) tilt motor harness multiplug from retaining bracket and disconnect multiplug.

4. Release forward (LH) tilt motor harness multiplug from retaining bracket and disconnect multiplug.
