Catalytic Converter Mounting Gasket: Service and Repair
Right-Hand

Removal

1. Open the engine compartment and fit paintwork protection sheets.
2. Remove the front muffler; Refer to 'Exhaust System, Muffler.'  See: Muffler/Service and Repair 

3. ! CAUTION:

Note the position of the upstream and downstream (where fitted) oxygen sensor multiplugs for reassembly.

Disconnect the oxygen sensor multiplugs.

Displace the multiplugs from the engine mounting bracket.
Disconnect the plug(s) from the oxygen sensor(s).

4. Remove the four nuts which secure the downpipe catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold.
5. Raise the vehicle on a ramp.
