CAUTION:  Under no circumstances must the flexible coupling (or its fixings) be loosened or removed from the drive shaft

"Match mark" the FLEXIBLE COUPLING to the differential DRIVE FLANGE. Remove the fixings (3)

6. Remove the driveshaft

CAUTION:  Ensure that the driveshaft front & rear sections do not become disengaged. Secure the front & rear sections to prevent sliding joint
disengagement during transport

Remove the fixings (2) center bearing to mounting bracket

Installation 

NOTE:  The large diameter driveshaft tube MUST be towards the transmission

1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure, noting the illustrations.

2. Refer to the illustration

Ensure that the assembly is central & that the bearing housing does NOT contact the transmission tunnel
