Steering Angle Sensor: Service and Repair

Steering Wheel Rotation Sensor 

Removal 

1. Disconnect the steering wheel rotation sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove the upper steering column.

3. Remove the steering wheel rotation sensor.

Installation 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Tighten to 1 Nm.

2. Calibrate the steering wheel angle sensor using the Jaguar approved diagnostic system.
