Sun Visor Mirror Bulb - Now Available Separately - Replacement Procedure

Issue:

In the event the bulb for the sun visor mirror needs to be replaced, it is no longer necessary to replace the entire sun visor assembly.

The bulb is now available separately.

Action:

On X-TYPE vehicles, do not replace the sun visor assembly if the sun visor mirror bulb is inoperative. Install a new bulb using the procedure outlined
below.

WORKSHOP PROCEDURE

1.

Reposition sun visor downwards for access.

2.

Open the cover of the illuminated mirror.

3.

Use a suitable tool to release the retaining tangs of the lens/mirror assembly and remove lens/mirror assembly.

4.

Remove defective bulb (Illustration 1).
