Selector Lever Cable Adjustment

Setting Procedure

NOTE:
Before starting the 'J' gate setting procedure, make sure the vehicle is cold, or has been left to cool for at least two hours.

1. Apply the parking brake.

2. Apply the footbrake.

3. Turn the ignition switch to position II.

4. Move the gearselector lever to 'N'.

5. Raise and support the vehicle.

6. Remove the gear selector cover plate.
