CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:

The workshop procedure to remove / install the transfer case rear output  flange seal has been revised. It is no longer necessary to remove the sub-frame
assembly. The new method drains the transfer case by removal of the seal and refills the transfer case by jacking up the car from the side.

Action: 

In the event it becomes necessary to remove / install the transfer case rear output flange seal, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below.
