7. Using the special tools, remove the halfshaft.
1. Attach special tools to the halfshaft.
2. Lever the special tools to displace the halfshaft.
3. Install the transfer case Y bracket retaining bolt.
4. Remove the halfshaft.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the transfer box internal seal, make sure that the link shaft is not retracted further than 200 mm from the
transfer box casing.
8. Remove the transfer case mounting bracket top retaining bolts.
