CONDITION SUMMARY:
OIL LEAK FROM TRANSFER CASE AREA
Situation:
Thread-lock seal between the staked nut and transfer case shaft may breakdown, resulting in an oil leak from the transfer case area.
Action:
Should a customer express a concern of an oil leak from the transfer case area, refer to the Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin to install a new
gasket, thread lock and nut to the transfer case shaft.
