Distributor: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Lift car and remove flywheel sensor heatshield.

Engine Speed Sensor

3.

Remove bolts securing flywheel sensor and move sensor from its position.

4.

Rotate flywheel to TDC position on crankshaft pulley.  This will align ignition rotor arm arrow with notch in distributor body and line on valley
cover.

5.

Refit flywheel sensor and its heatshield.

6.

Lower car.

7.

Disconnect throttle cable at throttle turntable.

8.

Remove throttle linkage rods and center engine shield.
