BATTERY CONDITION INDICATOR
DESCRIPTION
The battery condition indicator provides a bar-graph indication of the vehicle system voltage. The gauge is calibrated over a range of 9 to 17 V and is
operated, via B53-7 and LS1-8, from a load dump module which protects the Electrical System from high voltage spikes. The display also has a red
surround which flashes when the system voltage is high, is illuminated continuously when the system voltage is low and a Charging System fault is
suspected.
