Section B
Fault With Recirculation Line
(i)
R.H. recirculation valve (CAC2460) stuck open.
(ii)
Dirt on seat of R.H. valve.
(iii
L.H. recirculation valve (CAC2461) stuck closed.
Section C
Heat Soak Condition
During heat soak conditions fuel expansion expels approximately 2OOcc of fuel into the L.H. tank. Hence, with the L.H. tank full, if the car is driven
continuously on the R.H. tank after approximately 25-30 stops of over 15 minutes duration the L.H. tank will become completely full.
Section D
Fault With The Recirculation Line
(i)
No feed to L. H. recirculation valve (CAC 2461).
(ii)
L.H. recirculation valve coil open circuit or high resistance.
(iii) L.H. recirculation valve stuck open or dirt on seal face.
(iv)
R.H. recirculation valve (CAC 2460) stuck closed or restricted flow.
(v)
No feed to R.H. recirculation valve.
(vi)
R.H. recirculation valve coil open circuit or high resistance.
Section E
Fault With Suction Line
(i)
Faulty ground to tank change over valve.
(ii)
Tank change over valve open circuit or high resistance.
(iii)
Tank change over valve partially open or dirt on L.H. valve seat.
(iv)
Pick up filter (C29445) in R.H. tank partially blocked. This may be accompanied by excessive fuel pump noise.
