When investigating cases of excessive battery drain, the following chart indicates the expected readings for individual components.
It is important that a suitably accurate digital ammeter is used to measure these readings.
To prevent damage to sensitive ammeters, the antenna on XJ-S models should be disconnected prior to conducting static battery drain tests.
