FUEL PUMP RELAY GROUND CONNECTION
When investigating a condition where XJ-S HE models will not idle smoothly or accelerate after re-start, together with occasional engine cutting out, the
following area should be examined.
Check the correct operation of the fuel pump relay and check the continuity and integrity of the relay ground situated in the trunk compartment floor to
the right of the battery.
