1. Remove fascia panel from righthand side of instrument panel, Fig. 3.
2. Loosen air bag module attaching nuts.
3. While lifting catch plates upward, carefully pivot passenger's air bag downward to the disarmed position, Fig. 4. 

NOTE: As the catches are released the arming mechanism will apply considerable force. Support air bag with both hands, so it will not snap
downward; ease to the disarmed position
