8. Air bag module arming slide should be in the full down disarmed position, Fig. 6. If not, position air bag on workbench with pad side facing

upward. Using finger pressure, slide arming mechanism downward. If mechanism will not move downward to the disarmed position, place air bag
in a secure location and contact Jaguar.

9. After air bag has been placed in disarmed position, remove arming mechanism cap bolts.

10. Carefully remove arming mechanism from air bag.
11. Reverse procedure to arm air bag.
