4. Remove the left-hand front wheel and tire assembly.
5. Remove the air deflector.

Left-hand drive vehicles

1. Remove the steering gear shaft pinch bolt.

CAUTION:  The steering gear must be supported at all times.

2. Detach the steering gear.

CAUTION:  The steering gear must be supported at all times.

3. Using suitable tie straps, secure the steering gear.
