4. Remove the exhaust manifold to EGR valve tube retaining nuts.

5. Remove the EGR valve and the exhaust manifold to EGR valve tube.

-

Remove the retaining bolts.

-

Remove and discard the exhaust manifold to EGR valve tube gasket.

-

Remove and discard the EGR valve to air intake elbow gasket.

6. Remove the EGR valve.

-

Remove and discard the EGR valve to exhaust manifold to EGR valve tube gasket.

Vehicles without supercharger

NOTE:  Cap the exposed ports.

1. Disconnect the EGR valve coolant hoses.

-

Disconnect the EGR valve electrical connector.

-

Disconnect the EGR valve coolant hoses.
