Engine Control Module (ECM) (18.30.01)

Special Service Tools

5 Point Security Torx Bit 415-535

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the cowl vent screen.
3. Remove the cabin air filter.

Detach the cabin air filter.

-

Remove the cabin air filter.

4. Remove the cabin air filter housing.

5. Remove the engine compartment panel.

-

Remove the engine compartment panel retaining bolt.

-

Remove the engine compartment panel.

NOTE:  The engine control module (ECM) electrical connector retaining bolt remains captive in the electrical connector.

6. Using the special tool, loosen the ECM electrical connector retaining bolt.
