Service Action: Rear Antenna Pod Cover

AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:
A limited number of XJ vehicles may experience an issue with the retention of the rear antenna pod cover, located inside the vehicle near the rear
windscreen. The pod cover may become detached, fall onto the rear parcel shelf, and expose the antenna circuit board.

Action:
Dealers are required to HOLD the affected vehicles within your control and refrain from releasing the vehicles for onward distribution and sale pending
completion of the rework action detailed below. For cars in Dealer inventory, this Service Action should be performed in conjunction with the vehicle
Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI). For those vehicles already with customers, please perform the repair at the first available opportunity.
