PAS Reservoir - Adjust Mounting

ISSUE:

Some 1995 MY Sedan Range vehicles within the above VIN range may exhibit a noise from the right side of the fascia/bulkhead/underhood area. The
noise can be caused by contact between the cap of the power assisted steering (PAS) fluid reservoir and the hood insulating lining. The reservoir location
was modified starting with VIN 740692.

ACTION:

Only in case of a customer complaint of noise as described above on a 1995 MY Sedan Range vehicles within the above VIN range, perform the
following procedure:

1.

Remove the toolbox assembly.

2.

Loosen the clamp bolt (Illustration 1) that retains the PAS reservoir in the mounting bracket.

3.

Raise the reservoir to allow access to the screws (Illustration 1) that secure the bracket to the inner fender well.

4.

Loosen the mounting bracket screws.
