Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation
TRANSMISSION COMPONENTS
Pressure Switch Manifold (PSM)
This is a gear range sensing device used by the TCM to sense the gear range that has been selected by the driver. The PSM, located on the valve body,
contains five normally open pressure switches which under the various fluid pressures fed from the manual valve, provide system signals to the PCM
which determines the gear range that the transmission is operating in.
