Recline Motor/Potentiometer

Removal

1. Remove battery cover and disconnect ground cable from battery terminal. See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Battery Cable/Negative/Service and

Repair 

WARNING:  FOLLOWING DISCONNECTION OF THE BATTERY A PERIOD OF AT LEAST ONE MINUTE MUST BE
ALLOWED TO ELAPSE BEFORE WORKING ON A FRONT SEAT WITH A SIDE AIRBAG FITTED.

2. Remove front seat and position for access. See: Service and Repair 
3. Remove front seat back finisher. See: Seat Back/Service and Repair 

4. Release seat squab cover securing clips from frame.

5. Release seat squab cover lower edge retaining strip from frame.
