Press the retaining tang and remove the switch from the door latch (Illustration 1). Note orientation of the switch in the door latch for assembly
purposes.

Install and seat the new switch to the door latch. Ensure that the switch is installed in the correct orientation and that the locating pegs are engaged
(Illustration 2).

7.

Install the switch terminals to the correct cavities of electrical connector, ensuring the retention devices engage the terminals.

8.

Install and seat the anti-back-out device in the electrical connector.

9.

Tape up the harness to the original condition using suitable adhesive tape.

10.

Reinstall the door latch (see Global Technical Reference GTR Workshop Manual, section: 501-14).
