Warranty claims should be submitted quoting program code S843 together with the relevant option code from the table. This will result in payment of the
stated time and, where applicable, parts/miscellaneous expense codes.

The option that allows for drive in/drive out can only be claimed if the vehicle has been brought into the workshop for this action alone to be undertaken.

The SROs and parts listed have been included for information only; there is no requirement to enter the SROs or parts onto the claim.

Note:

Always perform a DDW claim search first to determine whether this service action has been performed on this vehicle. The  "Review Claim History"
function will provide a listing of all claims against the vehicle. If this service action number appears in the program code field, do not perform this
service action.

Link Lead Installation Procedure

1.

Open door and luggage compartment and install fender and interior vehicle protection kit.

2.

Remove instrument panel lower trim panel, refer to Workshop Manual section: 501-12, SRO 76.46.11.

3.

Displace white 12-way wiper switch connector from the retaining tang on the right hand side of the steering column, Illustration 1.

4.

Disconnect the white 12-way wiper switch electrical connector.

5.

Displace the anti-back-out device from the harness side connector.
