8. Remove the side air bag module.

Remove and discard the 2 nuts.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector.

-

Release the backrest cover.

Installation

1. Install the side air bag module.

-

Attach the backrest cover.

-

Tighten the new nuts to 7 Nm (5 lb.ft).

-

Connect the electrical connector.

2. Secure the front seat backrest cover central tension straps.

-

Attach to the seat frame.

3. Secure the front seat backrest cover lower retaining clips.

-

Attach to the seat frame.

4. Secure the front seat backrest cover rear panel retaining clips.

-

Attach to the seat frame.

-

Attach to the backrest cover.

5. Secure the front seat backrest cover lower tension straps.

-

Attach to the seat frame.

6. Install the front seat.
7. Connect the battery ground cable and install the cover.
