Remove the attachment nut from lower blower motor bracket. (Figure 3)

CAUTION:

The fan must remain in a vertical position and not rotate during installation.

Position the fan assembly vertically onto the attachment stud. (Figure 4)

Install the retaining nut and tighten to 7 Nm +/- 1.1 Nm (5.1 lbf ft +/- 0.8 lbf ft) taking care to ensure the fan remains vertical during tightening.

If the vehicle VIN is prior to B01509 install the link lead as follows:

Remove passenger's side end panel from fascia to access connector IP052. (Figure 5)

Unclip this harness branch to allow easier access.

NOTE: 

In the next step the splice point should be adjacent to connector IP052.

Splice the link harness C2P 12197 (red wire color) to ignition feed to front power socket (white and black wire in cavity 4 (pin 4) of
connector IP052.
