Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor - Vehicles With: Supercharger (82.10.20)

Special Service Tools

Removal

1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the accessory drive belt.
4. Recover the A/C refrigerant.
5. Using the special tools, support the engine.

CAUTION:  Protect the paintwork during this operation.

6. Remove the LH heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).
7. Remove the LH engine mount.
8. With assistance, remove the A-frame.

Remove the 6 bolts.

9. Release the A/C compressor.

Remove the 3 bolts.

10. Disconnect the refrigerant lines from the A/C compressor.

Remove the 2 bolts.

-

Remove and discard the 2 O-ring seals.
