Timing Cover: Service and Repair

Engine Front Cover

Removal

All vehicles

1. Set the hood to the service access position.

2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Remove the battery cover.

3. Remove the left-hand valve cover. For additional information, refer to Valve Cover LH   See: Cylinder Head Assembly/Valve Cover/Service and

Repair

4. Remove the right-hand valve cover. For additional information, refer to Valve Cover RH  See: Cylinder Head Assembly/Valve Cover/Service and

Repair

5. Remove the crankshaft pulley. For additional information, refer to Crankshaft Pulley - Vehicles Without: Supercharger   

6. Remove the water pump pulley.

7. Detach the engine harness from the engine front cover.
