Conversion-Bearing/Vertical Link Assembly 

Removal 

CAUTION: Replacement of nuts and bolts; Various thread-locking devices are used on nuts and bolts throughout the vehicle. These devices

restrict the number of times a nut or bolt can be used.

1. Open engine compartment and fit paintwork protectors to fenders.
2. Raise front of vehicle and support on stands.
3. Remove front wheel.

4. Remove front brake disc.

Refer to Brakes and Traction Control - Disc Brake System - Brake Rotor/Disc - Service and Repair - Procedures  

CAUTION: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang on the brake hose.

5. Remove wheel speed sensor-from vertical link.

Remove bolt.

6. Remove nut securing tie-rod end to steering arm.
