Keyless Entry Transmitter: Description and Operation
The pocket size, solid state transmitter operates on two 1.5 volt batteries and is attached to a key ring for convenient carrying. The transmitter is
activated by pressing the signal button on the side of the case. This closes the internal contacts which complete the battery circuit.
The battery voltage activates the transmitter diode which in turn generates a coded infrared signal. The signal is transmitted as pulses of infrared light.
A red LED on the side of the transmitter case will provide low battery indication by not lighting when the transmitter is activated.
