Squeeze the tabs (10) on the cable and pull it up out of the locking plate (11).
Lift accelerator cable (5) up. With one hand, grasp cable sheathing (12). With the other hand, grasp cable clasp (8). Pull the cable all the way up. It
should move smoothly and without effort.
Release accelerator cable (5). It should immediately drop down into cable sheathing (12).
CAUTION: Use finger pressure only to remove the cruise control cable connector at the bell crank. Pliers or screwdriver can brake the connector
requiring the complete cable replacement.

Using finger pressure only, remove cruise control cable connector (13) at bell crank
(9).
