PROCEDURE
The only way to remove the stored faults from the Electronic Control Unit (ECU)'s memory is to remove battery voltage from the ECU.
There are a number of ways to accomplish this. The easiest way is to remove the 2 amp ABS BAT fuse from the fuse panel (fig. 36) for
approximately 10 seconds and then reinstalling the fuse. This will clear all stored faults.
NOTE: When working on Jeep ABS brake systems, it is a good practice to check the stored faults prior to disconnecting the battery from the
ECU.
