Remove the interior door control panel retaining screws (Fig. 1) and move the control panel out far enough to allow the trim panel to be moved
outward.
NOTE:
DO NOT DISCONNECT THE DOOR LATCH CONTROL LINKAGE AND/OR POWER WINDOW HARNESS.

Remove the door glass crank handle, if equipped.

Remove the armrest retaining screws.
5.
Swing the armrest downward to a vertical position to access the upper retaining clip (Fig. 2). Remove the clip and pull the armrest out of the panel.

Disengage the trim panel retainers using tool J-21104 (Fig. 3) and let the trim panel sit on the door handle control linkage/or power window
harness. The trim panel does not need to be removed.
