OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the sunroof drive cable conduit.

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Ratcheting sound from sunroof during glass travel to vent position or initial closed to open glass movement.
DIAGNOSIS:
Operate the sunroof and listen for a ratcheting sound during glass travel to vent position or initial glass movement from closed to open position. If a
ratcheting sound is heard continuously during glass movement the cause is NOT a kinked conduit - this bulletin then does not apply and further diagnosis
will be required. If the ratcheting sound is heard during glass travel to vent position or initial glass movement from closed to open position, perform the
Repair Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1.
Put the sunroof in the closed or vent position.
2.
Drop headliner right front corner, by removing the right side A-pillar trim, B-pillar trim sun visor, sun visor clip and rear view mirror.
3.
Look at and/or feel the drive cable conduit in the radius above the drain hose this is where the conduit will be kinked.
