CAUTION: Do not allow the watershield adhesive to become stretched, broken or contaminated with dirt or other foreign substances. If
the watershield becomes contaminated or damaged, replace it. Also, if there are any materials applied to the watershield (i.e. tape,
patches, etc.), replace it.
5. Carefully remove the watershield from around the perimeter of the door.
6. Separate the watershield from the interior handle actuator rod and the door wire harness and remove the watershield.
INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Do not allow the watershield adhesive to become stretched, broken or contaminated with dirt or other foreign substances. If the
watershield becomes contaminated or damaged, replace it. Also, if there are any materials applied to the watershield (i.e. tape, patches, etc.),
replace it.
NOTE: Be sure that the door surface is clean and dry. Make sure that the watershield bead is fully sealed around the perimeter of the door.
1. Position the interior handle actuator rod and the wire harness through the holes in the watershield and install the watershield to the door.
