SUBJECT:
HVAC Floor Air Distribution

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves enlarging the HVAC air outlet openings and installing a grille over each opening for the driver and front passenger floor areas.

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

The vehicle operator is concerned with air being directed too strongly on the feet of the driver and front seat passenger.

DIAGNOSIS:

If the vehicle operator describes the Symptom/Condition, perform the Repair Procedure.

PARTS REQUIRED:

SPECIAL TOOLS/EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1.

Use the template in Grille Package, p/n 68028883AA, to mark the revised opening on the side of front center console.

2.

Use a rotary grinder or sharp knife to trim the opening to the marks made in step 1.

3.

Snap the appropriate grille from Grille Package, pin 68028883AA, into the revised opening.

4.

Repeat steps 1 - 3 for the other side of the console.

Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
