Fog/Driving Lamp Bulb: Service and Repair

REAR FOG LAMP
BULB
NOTE: The following procedure applies only to vehicles manufactured for certain export markets where rear fog lamps are optional or required
equipment. Rear fog lamps are not available in vehicles manufactured for North American markets.
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Reach under and behind the rear bumper fascia (4) to access the bottom of either of the two rear fog lamp housings (1).
3. Firmly grasp the socket (3) on the bottom of the housing and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.
4. Pull the socket and bulb (2) straight out from the keyed opening in the housing.
5. Pull the base of the bulb straight out of the socket.
INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Always use the correct bulb size and type for replacement. An incorrect bulb size or type may overheat and cause damage to the lamp, the
socket and/or the lamp wiring.
1. Reach under and behind the rear bumper fascia (4) to access either of the two rear fog lamp sockets (3).
2. Align the base of the bulb (2) with the socket.
3. Push the bulb straight into the socket until the base is firmly seated.
4. Align the socket and bulb with the keyed opening on the bottom of the rear fog lamp housing (1).
