up or down. When the two position window lockout switch in the window/lock switch is depressed and latched in the lockout position, the battery current
feed to each of the individual passenger power window switches is interrupted so that the passenger door power windows can only be operated from the
switches in the window/lock switch. The window lockout switch also controls the battery current feed for the LED in each passenger power window
switch so that the switch will not be illuminated when it is locked out. The front windows are controlled by the Driver Door Module (DDM) and
Passenger Door Module (PDM) respectively. The front window regulators are hard wired to the DDM and PDM. The front window regulators have 4
additional hall circuits (power, ground, and two hall sense signals) that are used for feedback for window control. In the event of a hall sensor failure the
window will move up/down in 1 second intervals. Diagnostic faults are set for hall sensor failures that can be read using the scan tool.
