This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with Remote Start (sales code XBM).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The MSMD interprets the remote start event as an OFF-to-RUN ignition key transition instead of a remote start, resulting in either the movement of the
driver seat to the memory driving position prior to driver entry or, no movement from the Easy Exit position following the actual OFF-to-RUN ignition
key transition.
DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool (StarSCAN(R)) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in TechCONNECT, verify all systems are functioning as
designed. If DTCs are present record them on the repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding further with this bulletin.
