Brake Drum: Removal and Replacement
Removal
REMOVAL
NOTE: Before proceeding, See: Service Precautions/Brakes - Caution.
1. Raise vehicle. See: Maintenance
2. Remove the wheel mounting nuts (3), then the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Slide the brake drum (4) off the wheel mounting studs of the hub and bearing (5) and remove it from the vehicle. If the drum does not come off,
further brake clearance can be obtained by backing off the brake adjuster screw. To do so, perform the following procedure.
