Is the part number recorded in step 10e above, the same as the new pin shown on the "Flash File List" screen?

a.

Yes >> PCM controller reprogramming is not necessary. Proceed to step 13.

b.

No >> PCM controller will require flash reprogramming, proceed to PCM repair procedure. Start with step 7.

NOTE:

The following step is required by law when reprogramming a PCM and/or TCM.

Type the necessary information on the "Authorized Modification Label" p/n 04275086AB and attach near the VECI label (Fig. 1).
