DISCUSSION:
Small surface cracks may develop on the lining material of the rear brake shoes. These cracks are on the surface only, and do not penetrate through the
lining material. The cracks are common to non-asbestos lining materials and do not impair brake efficiency or durability. This condition is normal and
does not require lining replacement.
