Install the rear half of the window regulator. Tighten attaching bolts to 8.8 Nm (75 in. lbs.).
15.
Carefully raise the window regulator and engage the regulator glass clamps to the glass plastic tabs.
16.
Tighten the regulator glass clamp bolts to 11.8 Nm (105 in. lbs.).
17.
Verify correct window glass operation.
18.
Install the water shield and speaker.
19.
Replace the door trim panel plastic retainers.
20.
Install the door trim panel to the door.
Perform This Procedure For A Rear Door With The Condition:
1.
Raise the window to the full up position.
2.
Remove the door trim panel.
3.
Partially remove the rear half of the water shield. While the water shield is temporarily removed, the adhesive seal around the perimeter of the
water shield must remain clean and not become contaminated.
4.
Remove the bolts used to secure the glass run channel to the door. Remove the glass channel from the door.
5.
Disconnect the latch rod from the back of the outside door handle (Fig. 1).
NOTE:
Lubricate only the plastic clip-to-counterweight connection. Do not lubricate the latch rod-to-plastic clip connection.
6.
Apply Lubriplate grease to the latch rod plastic clip. The grease needs to be carefully applied where the plastic clip connects to the hole in the door
handle counterweight (Fig. 2).
7.
Rotate the plastic clip in the counterweight hole. This step is important to help distribute the Lubriplate.
8.
Add a second application of Lubriplate grease to the clip and its connecting counterweight hole.
