Trunk / Liftgate Latch: Service and Repair

LATCH
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the trim panel from the liftgate (2). Refer to Trunk / Liftgate Shock / Support.
3. Position the watershield aside to gain access to the latch.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors of the latch (2).
