NOTE:
THIS BULLETIN APPLIES ONLY TO VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH THE UP COUNTRY SUSPENSION PACKAGE (SALES CODE AWE).
MODELS:
1993 (ZJ) Grand Cherokee/Grand Wagoneer
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The vehicle may exhibit a knocking noise in the suspension while driving. The noise may be more noticeable in temperatures below 40 degrees
fahrenheit. The noise is usually more noticeable at the rear of the vehicle.
DIAGNOSIS:
Road test the vehicle to verify the condition. Inspect the front and rear suspensions for any loose or damaged components. If no other problems are
found, perform the repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
Using the procedures outlined Group 02 of the 1993 Grand Cherokee Service Manual, Publication No. 81-370-3147, replace the shock absorbers with
the parts listed.
