Wiper Switch: Testing and Inspection
1. Check fuse and replace as necessary.
2. If fuse is satisfactory, ensure tailgate window is raised.
3. Check for 12 volts at terminal C of switch, with ignition switch in the On position.
4. If voltage is not measured, refer to SAFETY SWITCH CHECK.
5. If voltage is measured, check switch contacts as follows:
a. With switch in Intermittent position, check terminal D. 12 volts should be measured.
b. With switch in the Wash/Wipe position, measure voltage at terminal A. 12 volts should be measured.
6. If no voltage is measured, replace rear wiper switch.
7. If voltage is measured, refer to WIPER MOTOR CHECK.
