TAPE DRIVE POWER WINDOW DIAGNOSIS
Information
Power window flex rack breakage on 10-20 series models, may be caused by misalignment or improper installation of the window glass and/or lift
bracket.
Perform the following inspection procedures when servicing power windows.
Inspection
1.
Raise the window completely and remove the trim panel.

Verify proper left and/or right window glass installation. When properly installed, glass manufacturer's trademark will appear at lower rear corner
of glass, adjacent to B-pillar on front doors and division channel on rear doors (Fig. 1). Note trademark position and proceed to next step.
